Identifying Noise Sources
Noise has a major impact on many aspects of a military vehicle: from crew health and acoustic discretion to environmental considerations in a non-combat climate. Identifying a particular noise source can be a challenge in itself. When the extreme conditions under which military vehicles operate are considered, this challenge is severely magnified.
Brüel & Kjær offers a wide range of acoustic customer-oriented solutions, ranging from simple sound level measurements to the most sophisticated microphone array systems using advanced algorithms and hardware. Solutions are provided for:
- Airvehicle noise certification
- Exterior noise analysis, such as fly-over testing, using holography, beamforming, SONAH and high-temperature sensors
