The Noise Dose Meter’s graphical LCD display always keeps you updated on remaining battery and memory capacity, shows key parameters during measurements, and lets you review data from the most recent one.

Powered by a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), Type 4448 can measure all relevant noise parameters simultaneously, making setup tasks unnecessary. Adding new features is easy with software updates, ensuring the longevity of your investment.
Select hearing protection from measurements
Type 4448 is available in an A and B version. The advanced Noise Dose Meter Type 4448-B simultaneously measures LAeq and LCeq, so that by using the Noise Reduction Rating (NNR), Single Number Rating (SNR) and/or High, Middle, Low (HML) rating method, appropriate hearing protection can be selected directly from the measured data.

The Noise Dose Meter can be equipped with different mounting clips to provide the best fit, depending on the wearer's activity and clothes.
